Poodles being an impressive dogs are elegant, clever and smart dogs. There is still dispute about its origin between Germany and France. It is considered as second intelligent dog’s breed after Border Collie.

GENERAL APPEARANCE

Standard poodles are elegant and smart, squarely built proud dogs of medium size. Their muzzle is long, skull is rounded and there is a slight stop. They posses thick, curly and wiry texture. They also have wide set ears hanging close to the head with dark eyes which are oval in shape

Body size and weight: Body weight ranges from 54-70 Pounds. They are 1 foot and 10 inches tall at the shoulder.

Fully Grown:

Male: 22-25 kg

Female: 20-23 kg
