Belonging to western Alps, St. Bernard is large and working breed of dog which was originally used to guard the ground of Switzerland. It is famous as a family dog and guardian though the tales of rescues in Alps and also because of enormous size. Nowadays, this breed is sharing a good companionship with families all over the world.
