Dane is a German domestic breed which is better popular for its size. In German, it is also called as ‘German Mastiff’. They look imposing and are listed on sweet, affectionate pets. These are gentle giants which are referred as gentle giant. This breed is totally a joy to live with.

GENERAL APPEARANCE

Great Dane is a large, muscular dog breed which stands 30 inches at its shoulder and varying weight from 50-80 kg. Color variations for this breed is fawn, brindle, blue, black and mantle. Despite of their massive size, according to American Kennel Club they should come up in square proportion with their length and height of the body. They posses rectangular heads with high set of cropped ears.

Body size and weight: Their average body weight is ranges from 50-82 kg and average height is 28-31 inches.
