Regarded as medium to large, Rottweiler is a breed of domestic dogs. They are famous as working dogs as they were originally used to herd the livestock and drive the cattle to the markets. Also they used to pull carts with butchers. Rottweiler was also used by police and in military. In a nutshell, Rottweiler is a perfect blend of companion, strength, working dogs with powerful black coating appearance.

GENERAL APPEARANCE

Renowned as athletics, muscular bodies with large and broad heads, Rottweilers are longer than they are tall with a level top line. Their nose and lip is of black color whereas ears are pendant and triangular shape. Their short coat is normally highlighted with golden shades in chest, lower legs, in chest, over eyes and under the eyes.

Body size and weight: Body weight ranges from 50-60 kg of male and 35-48 kg in case of female. They are 1 foot, 10 inches to 2 feet and 3 inches tall at the shoulder.
