Life of dog
We love dogs. We care about them. We bring puppy to our sweet home. Everybody in the family seems happy and excited thereafter. Give a good bath, blow hair dry and wrap in the warm blanket. Pour worm medicine, do annual vaccination, give good food. They bite our socks, shoes--- we give treats/biscuits. They poo and pee all around, we clean with wipes and wrap with smooth nappy. We train, play, smile, and seem like a happiest family altogether.
Beside these what are we doing -- we are shortening their life, unknowingly or neglect.
Letting your dog gain too much weight -- invites high BP and Sugar.
Neglecting our dog dental care -- suffers liver and kidney.
Forgetting about heartworm -- Kills heart slowly.
Forgetting flea and tick prevention -- Shortens the life immediately.
Feeding your dog table scraps -- inviting pancreatitis
Exposing your dog to second-hand smoke -- risking to lungs
Not spaying or neutering---- risking several cancers e.g. Mammary/Teats
Not socializing your dog -- chances to feel lonely.
Skipping annual checkups -- Last not the least, visiting to vet once or twice a year may help to increase life span of your furry family.
